I saw this movie maybe 10 or so years ago, but the way I remember it makes me think it was an old movie anyways. It wasn’t a TV show but I saw it on TV. It was in color. It was in English. I remember the little girl kept calling the creatures “fairies”, but they kinda looked like ugly evil “borrowers” mixed with “who’s” they were kinda dressed in brown tunic type clothing…. They kept trying to tempt the little girl to keep her. The family had just moved onto the property, I remember a mom and an older brother not sure about a father but there was an old handyman. The fairies stole either his box cutter or screwdriver, stuck it out of the ground and somehow made him trip to land on it and it went into his chest. At one point the brother was in his room and a large jar of either pennies or marbles fell like it was supposed to fall on his head. The mom finds the daughter of the last family that lived on the property in the asylum and goes to talk to her, she had been drawing the fairies the entire time she was there which was years because she was much older. In the end the mom and woman find the little girl underground in like tunnels maybe wrapped in some kind of webbing and the old woman picked up a panda teddy bear and starts to clutch to it. I can picture more than I can really describe, I’ve been trying to find it since it gave me nightmares when I was little. If anyone can help please try.
