What I remember has to do with a women that is part of a group gets into a sensory deprivation tank for some sort of therapy/experiment/fun and has a “Dream” that leads to her friends either being killed or stuck in some creepy slimy egg sacs. then end is her waking up and getting out of the tank and seeing a creepy guy from her dream. This movie is from maybe the 80’s or 90’s..or possibly older..

I haven’t seen it, but I remember the old vhs cover showing a submerged woman whose face was the only part not submerged in water(sensory deprivation tank?) and she had those electronic monitoring things on her face.
Yeah, I definitely think it is Nightwish(1989). Here is a review video I found and it has a scene of a girl finding someone in a slimy egg sac at the 2 min. 22 sec. mark of the video.
