so a few years ago I found this French movie playing on tv. I don’t remember the details, just that the main character was a boy, between 12 and 14 years old. He seemed to be learning about sex or something and at one point he was at a dance with a girl his age and as I recall he wasn’t into her because she wasn’t really aware or educated on the topic.

The scene that sticks out the most is when he sees a woman (I believe his mother, but after googling I’m not so sure) bathing, and becomes curious.

Before you guess the name, it’s not Ma Mere and it’s newer than Murmur of the Heart.
