First off, I was around 5 years old when I saw this movie which would put the date around 1999/2000/2001

secondly, it was in color and set in the 1950’s or 1960’s.

Thirdly, the only main characters I remember were a boy and his mother and father or mom’s boyfriend. Then a girl the boy likes.

I remeber a scene of them riding their bikes through the town to the town carnival and a scene of them on the Ferris wheel. I also remember a scene where his mom gets hit by a man in the house. But,

the main scene I remeber is the girl being in the woods and a bunch of boys bullying her and possibly pushing her. She breaks her arm and the boys dad or moms boyfriend comes to help, makes an arm sling from my belt and carries her away.
