Ok so I don’t remember much about the movie.

I’d say 80s to possibly early 90s. English, color.

It was a movie about a bunch of trolls (not evil) that lived in trees that are alongside a large open field. If I remember correctly, there was a little boy that found them and would keep going out there to see them.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember anything else. It’s one of those weird things that comes to mind every so often.
