I Don't Know the Name... (unsolved movies)

An older movie, either from very early 2000’s or 70’s-90’s. I really don’t remember much but this one scene apparently left a really big mark on me as a child.

There’s a human family in a cave, it’s quite big and there’s also a water area and they find a friendly monster lying there. It’s bleeding severely and they’re desperately trying to stop the bleeding, putting parts of their clothes into the wound. I believe they don’t manage to save it but I’m really not sure.

It’s not a lot but it would be cool if someone knew.

A movie about a family of ocean monsters where the mother monster gets killed

I’ve seen this movie when I was a child so it’s probably going to be older than 2008 or so.

The only things I remember are that there was a monster that came out of the ocean but the military killed it. I believe it left a baby at the shore and the dad (together with what I believe was an older sibling) came to take the mother’s corpse back to the sea and search for the baby. If I remember correctly in the end they found the baby and returned to the sea together.

The creatures were big and lizard/dinosaur like.
