When I was around 8 years old I used to watch a lot of anime and cartoons. And I recall a scene, I don’t know if it is a movie or an animation with episodes. I just recall this one scene:

It is a futuristic place. But looks like a ruined society style, with dirty builds and some technology left. And there is this woman who needs to jump through this passageway to reach where she needs to get. And one day, she tries to jump through it, but fails, and a machine, built within the passageway grabs here with robotic arms and cuts her legs of. So she will never make the jump again.
