I just watched How to train your dragon 2. I was wondering, it would be nice to see those ‘deleted scenes’ at the end of such movies. I mean it would be impossible because it’s CG and it’s not like a real actor would mistake his lines or start laughing etc. But then again, I think I saw one cartoon that had such scenese at the end. Maybe these scenese are called ‘bloopers’ or so, where the actors make some funny mistakes. What CG cartoon was that? It was quite recent, I was thinking about Monster University, can it be? I don’t have the movie to check. For sure you can help….

Hello there. I just watched Everest and it reminded me of a much older movie (90s or 2000s).

I can only remember that towards the end of the movie one guy that was kind of lost out in the cold, lies on a hospital bed and find himself without toes because his feet were frozen ‘to death’. When he tries to stand, he can’t because he cannot balance himself without toes.

What movie was that? I thought something to do with rescue teams but this guy with frostbite to the feet was the main character I think.

So basically there are two families, living on the same street (I think they were one on the opposite side of the other). Typical wooden American houses I guess. One of the two gardens is very clean (maybe they grow vegetables as well?). In one of the two houses is living a boy/kid (with the parents), in the other one a little girl or another little boy (also with the parents). I don’t remember about brothers or sisters.

Those were two different families (although they lived on the same street). At some point one family invites the other over for dinner. Harsh feelings during the dinner. After that dinner I think the kids were not supposed to meet anymore, they were not allowed (I think one of the two was kind of like sneaking out to meet the other one). Among all the stuff that happens in the movie, also death can be part of it….some killer or some kind of death plot, don’t remember.

I think the parents that had the very good garden / vegetable were a bit crazy (religion? education? human contacts?).

The movie is for sure not old and is in colour. It’s not carrie but that is the kind of ‘repression’ of one of the two families I can remember.

I just watched About Time and it brought to my mind another movie.

In the movie that I cannot remember, there was a similar technique…..basically one guy who knew what was going to happen (either because had already lived that moment or because he could see the very next future) used this ability to perfectly speak with women….he knew what they wanted to hear and things like that.

I repeat: I just watched About Time (2013) so it is not that one. It is also not Groundhog Day. It doesn’t have anything to do with back to the future, it was also not very action-oriented like Next (nicholas cage) or Source Code.

If you think that Next had some of these ‘girl pickup’ moments you can suggest, but I am pretty sure in the movie I can’t remember, the guy was constantly going back (just like in About Time) to give the correct ‘answer’ to the girl’s question, a bit like in groundhog day, there are very fast sequences where they skip the whole day and you see bill murray just going with different replies to please the girl he wanted to pick up.

What movie could this be? It cannot be a TV Movie, I am in Europe so I normally watch only ‘hollywood’ stuff.
