The movie i believe was in color, i saw it on tv sometime between 2004-2013. It took place in the 50s or 60s, 2 scenes i remember are 1. Some firemen are taking down a beehive from a tall tree and possibly a fireman falls (i dont remember clearly) the 2nd scene i remember had soldiers in this town fighting large bugs or bees (i think) and a tank (possibly a sherman) drives out of the movie theatre.

all i remember is one scene where some firefighters take a bees nest down for a family, and near the end there is a big fight scene with soldiers using ww2 or korean war gear against large bees or aliens or something like that. sorry i cant remember more.
