I remember this kids movie and the only details I can think of are the kids (a girl and boy I think) go to stay (maybe are adopted?) in this large mansion and there are all these fun rooms they are allowed in, but they are forbidden to go into one. Curiousity kills the cat and either the girl dreams or does enter the room and there is a carousel and candy?? That’s all I got and for the life of me can’t figure out where I saw this.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the name of a movie. I can only remember that two friends went on holidays and one of them hooked up with a guy. She went back home and got married and had a son. She had to go and find the guy she hooked up with because he is the father of the child and he is on the run and she needs his blood to save her child.
