I’m not sure where I saw this but it keeps coming back to me. There was this girl that found a bird and took it in and adopted it. It couldn’t fly. It became her best friend. She took it to school for show and tell. Her classmates dared her that it couldn’t fly so they started throwing stones and sticks at it to make it fly. She was so desperate to feel accepted that she started throwing stuff at it too. The bird died from that. Does anyone remember something like this?
