I’m going to describe two scenes because I think they are in the same movie but it might be two different movies…

The first one I remember being featured in movie trailers in the early 1980s so I’m assuming movie was made then. American, I believe. Had that late 1970s/early 1980s vibe to it. In it, a woman is driving and stops her car when she sees a doll standing in the middle of the road. I think she originally mistook it for a small child. She gets out of the car to inspect the doll and when she reaches for it the doll clasps her hands so she cannot get away. She then hears her car start up and gets runs over by it.

The next scene shows two nude women facing each other in profile. One of them fondles the other’s breast. A man shows up and starts giving them directions. He is, apparently, an acting coach and is hosting some acting class/retreat where he is encouraging his students to explore their more sensitive feelings…. by engaging in lesbianism. I remember him saying something ridiculous to one of the nude women, like: “USE your fear!”

What kills me is that I’ve known of this movie since I was kid (the doll scene in the trailers), came upon by accident as an adult when I rented a horror movie I hadn’t seen before, but forgot the name of it again!
