I rented an anime movie from Blockbuster back sometime between 1998-2002. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called. But it was about a girl who was sent to retrieve a painting (which was sacred I think) and capture the man (who she use to love) who stole it. She enrolls in school as a cover and mostly search at night. In the movie you end up finding out the reason the man stole the painting was because his sister is trapped inside and he’s trying to figure out how to save her life. The fight scenes are awesome as the girl transforms a bit. Oh and there is another girl helping the guy who the girl fights. Sadly I don’t remember the end. Does anyone remember this movie and know what it’s called? I’ve been searching for YEARS. 🙁
