a young girl has run away from what i cant remember, she get caught stealing from a petrol station/truck stop i think. later that night she breaks in and spends the night sleeping in the bathroom. the guy a red head i think then picks her up from the side of the road? and takes her home with him, they end up falling in love but not without there battles. they go swimming at a water a hole and he throws her in and i think she trys to run away again…. i think its an Australian film festival film….?
