Think it was around The NeverEnding Story era of films, and a girl finds herself in a war in a mystical world. She is being helped by a fat man who is strong (and later gets fired out of a cannon), and a thin man who is very fast.

Teenager finds out he is adopted and that he is really an alien
It might have been a TV Movie, I seem to remember it being on Channel 5 as a kid (in the UK). A teenager finds some sort of online community and it tells him to try certain things like slowing his heart down (for flight in space), and being able to breathe any gas. He breathes in helium and has no effect on him. I think it may have been around the 90s. American film; I thought it had Matthew Broderick in it, but I looked on IMDB and can’t find the one I’m looking for on his filmography. But the whole film is about him being an adopted alien on Earth preparing to travel back home. Thanks for any help 🙂
