there’s a birthday scene at the beginning and it’s all being recorded and stuff and then you see the mother getting beaten to death with a baseball bat with an obscured view and the son is sent away because they thought he did it and he doesn’t speak and shit and then at the end you find out the dad actually beat the mom and he was just traumatized ???  It is not frayed
