I remember seeing this film when I was around 6/7, s0 13 or 14 years ago or maybe even longer than that. The film looked as if it had been out in the 90’s and I was just seeing it for the first time on the TV.

I’m sure it started with a nurse in a hospital who was going round the patients and she came to this elderly woman who gave her a jewelry box that had a necklace in it as the nurse had a young daughter. The nurse and the daughter lived alone in a small house in the middle of the forest and as the nurse left the hospital, a huge storm came. The nurse tried to get home during this storm with the necklace in her hand, but was killed when a tree falls on her and crushes her. The daughter is left alone in the cabin.

The film goes forward to the present time where the daughter is now an elderly woman who still lives NEAR the forest, but not in it. I’m not 100% sure if its her grandchildren that come and visit, but there are children in the town where the forest is and where the woman lives now that believe the forest is haunted by the nurse that is killed and eventually go on to reunite the necklace with the elderly woman.

The story has more to it, but that’s all I seem to remember from it.
