Not sure when I saw this I’m pretty sure at least 20 years ago. All I remember about the movie is it’s about this group of kids that hang out and do bad stuff until finally they break into the home of this really old  couple and end up torturing and murdering them,  then burning the house down. I feel like maybe a brother and sister had started hanging out with the bad kids before it all went down and one didn’t agree and got beat and left in a field. I really want to see this again. It was pretty traumatizing for a kid to watch

Ok so I know I only ever saw this movie on tv one time in the early 2000’s probably  maybe 1999 ish   and it’s possible it was a made for TV movie. It is set in the country somewhere like south I would guess and there’s one boy who has a father or stepfather or moms boyfriend who is really strict and abusive  and thinks the boy should be more of a man, playing sports and all that. The other boy is kind of feminine and is always made fun of and picked on but the two boys end up being friends sort of. There is a scene where they are at the one boys house playing piano and the feminine boy puts his hand on the others leg or tries to kiss him or something. The straight boy doesn’t know what to do but I think he kinda avoids the kid for a while. In the end the feminine boy is beaten and killed and left in the road or woods and the other boy blames himself for no t being there to help him. It’s possible the movie is narrated from the straight boys older self
