I think it was from about 10 years ago in Japanese(it could have been Korean or Chinese) with English subtitles. I remember the plot to a certain degree; it was set in feudal Japan and was about a man who requests an audience with the king of the country/region to claim the reward for completing a bounty the king had put out on two rogue warriors, by presenting him their weapons. He then, in the form of an extended flashback, tells the king how he went about killing them. The king doesn’t believe him, and then gives his account as another flashback of what he thought happened. The one scene I remember specifically is how the man throws a large bundle of black arrows with one white one in the air, then shoots an arrow, splitting the white one in two but not touching any others. He does this to prove to the two warriors how precise he is, and thereby convincing them that he would be able to stab them without hitting any major organs and allowing them to fake their deaths.
