This movie is probably from late 80s, 90s, or early 00s. I believe it is a lifetime movie, or at least played on LMN. It was in English.

It starts out with a woman being pulled over in her station wagon by police officer and arrested. And then flashes back to explain why she was arrested. She worked at a TV station, I think, and there was a famous athlete there (baseball player maybe). Her car breaks down and the athlete comes along and gives her a ride to his cabin (there was snow storm or something) Anyway, long story short, he rapes her. She kills him in self defense, and puts his body in a well outside. She accidentally leaves an earring or something there which points the police to her. After she is arrested (back to present time) she takes the police to where she put his body and they end up finding several women’s bodies. Turns out he was a serial rapist and serial killer.

I’ve seriously been trying to find this movie for years.
