Two country bumpkins (brothers?) and their girlfriends work as servants in a Gothic castle. The guys arrive one night while there’s a party/masquerade ball going on. The butler and all the guests turn out to be vampires, witches and skeletons (in the latter case, people in black leotards with bones painted on, lol). There’s lots of dancing and classical music, but no dialogue. The two girls serve drinks to the guests, narrowly escaping being bitten, while the guys try to save them and get out of the castle. The whole thing is very slapstick.
Some memorable scenes:
The guys end up getting drunk in a wine cellar. They toast with the only word in the whole movie: “Hallelujah!”
A green witch is knocked off her broom by a cannonball.
The movie ends with the two guys lying in a pile of hay in a barn, being woken up by the butler, who is no longer a vampire. The whole thing was a dream.
I saw this on tv in the 8os. It was in colour, about half an hour long (no idea if a tv movie or an episode of something), and other than the wine scene, there was no dialogue, so no idea what language it was in.
