This was a war movie, probably black/white, I believe WWII , set in the jungle in Asia.

The main characters were a US Army platoon that hiked through the jungle to find an Asian commander (possibly a Chinese warlord?). They were trying to make some kind of deal with the commander, maybe join forces, obtain supplies, rescue hostages or some similar goal. When they found him, the commander’s headquarters was in the fuselage of a wrecked plane in the jungle. Probably a C47. If I remember right, the negotiations did not go well.
