So this film thing was between the 1970-1980s when my step-dad watched it and I need help to help him pin point the title so he could watch it again. It was in English and I believe color, I’m not sure.

But the film was about a teenage boy who finds a device in the desert and it hooks onto his wrist. The longer he wears the device the more his skin begins to warp and he gets this strong tendency to kill people. Additionally, the device causes like this strange shield thing to emerge from his chest and creates like a symbol thing on his chest.

A significant thing that he mentioned as well was that this film was like a short-film kind of thing. It was not long enough to become a movie in theaters but not short enough to make a TV series. So I guess it’s like a TV Movie?
