I just wanna start this off by saying I was a kid when I saw this movie trailer, so my memory is a bit hazy.

This memory has been haunting me for years because no matter how hard I looked, I could never find it.

Basically, I saw a trailer for a movie as a kid. (Think 2009-2014 timeframe) It was for a pretty noticably shitty action movie. It was produced sometime between 2005-2012 and used the stereotypical action graphics.

The plot, as best as I can remember, goes like this – A man with a dangerous job (can’t remember if it was with the government or illegal) died while taking a huge risk. For some unknown reason, they are able to bring him back in the body of a woman. It’s unclear how this happens. For another unknown reason, he decides to take another risk, a dangerous mission where he’ll probably die. He goes against advice given to him to leave his past behind and build a new life for himself and goes on this mission. He also has a partner, a girlfriend or a wife, who still cares about him and they kiss in the trailer.

His new body is kinda like Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Brown hair, toned arms, defined features. The man’s name may have been Bruce, but that could just be my brain mixing action movie tropes. There’s also a lot of clips where he (she?) is fighting a bunch of dudes. I vaugely remember an older woman with blonde hair talking to the main character. Lots of the details are really fuzzy.

If anyone knows what movie this is, I’d be over the moon. This really means a lot to me.
