I remember seeing a movie at my great grandmother’s house when I was about 5 years old. That would make it roughly 1989 or 1990. It is a memory I have had ever since but of course 30 years or so have passed so I might be way off.

What I remember was that there were two guys who seemed like friends living in a coastal area. As the movie went on they got into some situation that caused a lot of friction between them. The middle is hazy to me and then the memories get a little strange. Later one of the guys ends up being buried up to his neck. I am not sure if it was sand. I seem to recall some sort of rockslide so he might’ve been buried by rocks. As this was happening the other guy was driving in a convertible and becoming very distracted. I believe there was someone else in the car with him. He ends up getting so agitated that he drives onto the beach where his friend is buried and runs over his head.

Does this in any way sound like a real movie? I don’t think it was Creepshow despite the similar premise. It was in color and in English. Anyone have any thoughts?
