It was a very emotional film and base on a true story. Doctors says the mom there isn’t any cure for this illness, but she never give up and tries to communicate continuously. I remember a scene that she sits in front of the boy and swings back and forth together.
Could anybody help me to find this film?
I think that sounds like Son-Rise. The boy has autism and his parents find a way to help him on their own, because the doctors want him institutionalized. The mother does a lot of doing what the boy does, mimicking his actions, to try to figure out what he gets out of the repetitiveness.
