I remember a cop movie from the 90s where the actor playing the cop gets called to hostage situation and the cops in a hurry doesn’t have time to deal with this stuff kind of thing the cop ends up going next door to a car rental place and rents a car adds all the extra insurance on it and then crashes the car in to the building where the bad guy is quickly grabs the bad guy and ends the hostage situation can’t remember much else
