I’ve been trying on and off for probably a decade to remember but no luck…maybe it’s all in my imagination but perhaps you guys can help.

Takes place in the 80s/90s and was a comedy adventure type movie. I remember watching it on the WB in the early 90s probably during their afternoon showcases.

Plot that I remember that may be totally wrong…Two guys are trying to rescue a girl(gf?) from some oldish race of humans that live under their home? They go after her but I can’t recall how they get there. An electrician is in their house and follows some electrical cord that he’s ripping out of the wall to some place where he can go and rescue them….? He opens his toolbox and theres a sword in it and the wackiness continues..All I remember…if it’s a real memory.
