The scene that I remember watching from this film is that there were a bunch of people in a room walking around in a line. Each step forward would bring a new person to the front, where there would be a gun aimed at them, and then fired. However, it wasn’t known whether the gun was loaded, i.e. some kind of roulette.

The film was in black and white, I’m 70% sure it was a french film, however I don’t remember anything else from the film, and I’m not even 100% about what I have described!
