60s spy spoof

Colour movie from the 1960s.  Saw it on TV 40 years ago.  A spy spoof or something like that.  I remember a man held captive upright and metal arm tear off his clothes.  He says it tickles and is left in his boxer shorts.  I believe he may have been wearing a white tunic.  Cannot remember anything else with any certainty.  I have checked IMDb but couldn’t find it.  It is not The Million Eyes of Su-Muru or Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine

    1. I put your description on the IMDb board. Yours doesn’t fit the description as much as this poster’s. But this one has to be I Love a Mystery, which isn’t even a spy spoof, but what are you going to do? It is campy, based on an old radio show about three private detectives. Somebody there recognized it, but didn’t have the title, but thought Phil Hartman was in it. Then someone came up with the title. It’s on YouTube in a TV transmission. But I checked the ending and it’s all there, including ,”it tickles.” It is Phil Hartman who is getting stripped by the metal arms. Looks pretty crappy, I must say, a real comedown for Ida Lupino as the villain. I think it may be your movie too, but some of your stuff isn’t there. I hope someone marks it solved.

      1. Yes, that’s it. I saw that over 40 years ago. I forgot about the lions. Thank you Will, I never would have found it. I was sure that it was some kind of spy spoof.. Yes it’s solved.
