I saw a movie that i think was made between 2010 and 2015, am thinking it was likely made in 2014. Anyway the plot of the movie was about some kids that were on a planet in space, training to become space soldiers. I don’t remember a whole lot about the move but the main plot was similar to Enders Game, where some kids were inducted into the space cadets for training, and sent to another planet to train. there was a group of kids that became friends. in the midst of training , the school was attacked. There was an attempt to evacuate the kids through a tunnel that ran from the training facility up to space ships hovering in space,, but as many of the kids were going up in the tunnel it was destroyed by the attackers. The attackers were some sort of alien that was invisible.

Some of the kids escaped and began to plot a way to save themselves and their fellow cadets. The main character, the hero of the movie, had a best friend who was killed in the attack.

I can’t remember too much more. anyone have any ideas?
