I was real little hen I saw this cartoon. it was around late 90’s  real early 2000’s. Little by little I remember more and more details about it, but whenever I try to google it I get nothing that even sounds remotely the same. I can’t really tell you exactly what year it was released, but I remember I was between 5 to 9 years old and that was in the late 90’s real early 2000’s.

Its a cartoon where all the characters are animals. I can’t remember exactly what type of animal they are, but I think I may remember them being brown. Like a cat, squirrel or chipmunk or something. Two twins were born, a brother and a sister, but both were marked with an X on the palm of their hands. I remember this clearly, because I was inspired to do the same to one of my old stuff animals I still have sitting on my shelf. When they were kids, the brother spotted a mouse or a rat. I remember it being pink with red eyes, but I could be wrong of it’s color. The brother was attracted by this creature so he runs after it following it into the woods. Later he was kidnapped by an evil wizard or sorcerer or witch, I can’t remember.  As both the twins get older, the brother was turned into an ugly bird and he helps cause chaos over the land and even steals I think a crown from his mother and or father. So the daughter sets out to get what was stolen back from the evil. I don’t remember much after this, but later the brother eventually somehow remembers who he really is and somehow gets changed back. The evil is stopped and the brother goes back to his old self and returns how with his sister.  I THINK they were prince and princess, but it was so many years ago, I don’t remember all the details.

Please, if anyone has any clues as to what cartoon I am trying to remember, please let me know. All answers will be appreciated greatly.
