Hi everyone, I would be happy if you could help me remember the title of this movie;
There is a woman watching well dressed people in a slowly moving train from right to left. People in the train are . The camera is stabil, the windows almost fill up the screen. Every passing window shows a different scene with different people. In one of them there is a guy drinking champaigne or sth. similar.
I saw this scene in a documentary about filmmaking I guess, but cannot remember from which old classical movie it was. In the documentary the windows were used as a metaphor for cinema itself.
Thx a lot!
Stardust Memories?
How old? Was it in black and white?
