I watched this movie when I was younger. It was probably around the late 80s or early 90s. I believe that the it was from the 70s or early 80s though.
It had a man that had really terrible luck in it. There are two scenes I remember. One he was in a museum and was pissed on by a picture of a horse. The other is that he is so fed up with his life that he douses himself in gasoline. But, when he goes to light himself on fire, his lighter won’t light and he just winds up freezing cold.

I know it is not Airplane! I love that movie. I don’t think it is Pure Luck, but I will see if I can watch it this weekend and see if it is. Thanks for the suggestions
