I remember catching bits and pieces of a movie that my parents were watching when I was little. Sometime between 92-94. The film may have been released earlier as I remember them watching it at home on VHS. The movie was about a woman trying to get back to her children after being held captive and tortured by a group of soldiers of some kind. I want to say that it was somewhere in Russia or another foreign country. The film was in English and in color. One of the scenes was the woman being tortured by the soldiers where they’d violently slap the bottoms of her bare feet with a sword or machete of some sort. Also, at the end of the film, as the woman kneels before the soldier, she yells out, “My children!” before being shot in the back of the head execution style by said soldier.
