Im almost certain this was a movie and I probably would have watched it in 2006, it was on tv (so it could have been a tv show). It was in English and in colour, I can remember parts of it, the parents of a young girl are in a custody battle after separating or divorcing? I also remember a scene where the mother slaps the girl in the face because she says something along the lines of wanting to live with her dad? I’m not sure of what she said but I do know the mother slaps the daughter in the face and then quite possibly brings her to her fathers..
