This is a fantasy movie about a magician and his daughter traveling from town to town in a carriage performing magic tricks. They eventually pick up a young man the magician hopes will become his apprentice. But the money isn’t what it used to be and the young man sees that and parts ways.

The movie ends with the young man giving a beggar (who is actually the magician) money.

As for the fantasy part, it is very surreal. It teeters between good and bad, but could rival a Salvador Dali painting.
