All I remember about it is that it was from the 80s or 90s with 2 kids in it, a boy and a girl, and they seemed to be on some sort of adventure with a grown woman, possibly mom, or not. I remember two very specific scenes, 1.) the kids have to get all of the swearing/cursing out of their systems so the lady makes them each swear into a bag. The boy starts with, “son of a—” which is the only part of the string of expletives he’s supposedly saying into this bag that’s audible. The rest is just beeping. Then the little girl goes and she begins with, “mother—” and a similar string of bleeped out expletives. Pretty funny. 2.) The other scene is of these two kids off to the side while something else is going on, and they’re feeding a little monkey. When the camera pans back to the kids after the main scene, they’re standing there and the monkey is dead. Worried and sad, one of the kids says, “we thought he would quit eating when he got full!” So basically they fed a little monkey to death. In the movie it was really funny because it was pretty wacky. I think they were in a shop of some kind during that last scene I wrote about. I can’t think of the name of the movie, who starred in it, or even when it was I saw it. It would have had to be in the 90s. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
