This is a movie I saw as a child either in the late 80s or early 90s.

It’s set in a prison or industrial building (like a factory). There are people trapped or imprisoned there. If they disobey orders, for punishment they are taken to a big metal wall with lots of holes in it (or maybe they are gaps between bars?) – their fingers are pushed through the holes and Something Horrible imprisoned in the room on the other side of the wall eats their fingers.

There’s a scene where light is shining through from the interior of the room, and beaming out through the holes/between the bars. As the Creature moves past, the light is interrupted.

I don’t know what this movie is! I’m sure it’s not Alien 3 as I’ve watched that a few times. Unless it’s a childhood nightmare …? It just seems like a scene from a film. Any help would be appreciated!
