There was a movie where two guys are captured by a group of bandoleros in a desert sort of setting. In this one particular scene, they decide to execute them, so they make them lie down tied up on their backs. Two of the bandoleros stand over the captives and decide to shoot them at the count of three. As the main guy counts to three, the men on the ground wince as they prepare to be shot. However, right as the main bandolero says “three”, he quickly turns around, squats over the one prisoner, and flatulates loudly on him. Then, the whole gang starts laughing loudly. Any clue what this movie could possibly be?

I saw a movie in the 80s on HBO with one scene in it where soldiers or police in a village burn a young Asian girl’s hand on a grill to make her reveal where someone they are after is located. They don’t actually show her hand being burned, but you later see her with it thickly bandaged. I do not recall the year this movie is set in or even if it was a wartime drama, but it is in an Asian country, like Vietnam.

A movie I saw on cable tv in the 80s had a touching scene where a younger woman is talking to an older woman (who I think is the girl’s mother or grandmother). The older woman knows she is going to die soon and tells the younger visibly upset woman something about not missing her because she will “see her again on the other side”. (By the way. There is a similar scene in Poltergeist 2, but that’s definitely not the movie I’m thinking of).

I remember seeing a movie (I believe in the 80s) where a brother and sister are being held captive by a mountain man in his cabin. In one scene, the man is upset with the boy who is handcuffed or similar, and it’s Christmas Day. He either hits or kicks the boy, and Says, “Merry Christmas”. At the end, I’m pretty sure they shoot him with a shotgun to escape. I also think the setting and time of the movie is not ‘current’, but rather more early to mid 1900s? Any ideas? I used to see this on HBO way back when.
