Hey all this is all I remember about the film because I was young at the time,
It was film with a setting like Hawaii, about a little boy who finds a baby reptile who came from some crack in the ocean and then later in the film the mother comes and is massive and tries to attack the town.

This one really intrigues me, it sounds like “Gorgo”(1961) but that one is an older movie. I thought I had seen every giant monster movie.
