So… I only have a very vague memory of the film.

It’s an American film from the (late?) 80s – (early?) 90s. I don’t remember much. I think there might have been a group of people having to solve some mystery or riddle.. Maybe they were even magicians? Or computer experts? (I know that’s quite far apart but to the child I was back then a computer expert and magician were pretty much the same thing).

The one thing that is still vivid in my mind is that they had to find the lair or hiding place of the “bad guy” and they couldn’t find it. They eventually found it through the blind guy of the group who listened to a tape / phone call (??) and could identify what he heard on the road e.g. they passed birds/ducks/geese, they drove over train tracks.

What they found… I have no idea. A computer? A person who was kidnapped?

I know this is pretty vague, but I hope it will ring a bell for someone.

I saw this on tv in the 90s, the film was in colour. I remember liking it back then, but that is in no way proof that it would be a good film…

And now I leave it in your hands and hope someone will finally help me solve this mystery.
