I remember really liking this scary movie I saw on t.v. as a child, so it would have been from the mid 70’s to early 80’s.
All I really remember is this lady’s kid is killed either by the action or inaction of a group of teenage boys. The lady casts a spell on the teenagers (possibly at the funeral). The incantation included some phrasing similar to “round and round the pentagon goes, where it stops nobody knows”. Each of the (5?) teenagers subsequently comes to an untimely death as the spell plays out.
Is that enough to go on for someone to remember the title of this one?
I’m curious if my adult self will find the movie satisfying as well as my younger self did. If you remember the movie, did you like it?
Thanks!!
Might be the first story in Encounters of the Unknown (1973).
Encounters with the Unknown.
I just looked at the beginning of it. It’s not word for word that, but her curse has round and hexagon in it.
Not that great a movie though. Rod Serling must have been just picking up a paycheck.
