Foreign Short Film About A Woman Working In A Factory

I have been trying to solve this mystery for decades.  I love movies and have found almost every film I’ve ever wanted to see…except this elusive one.  It is definitely a foreign film and I’m not really sure if any words are spoken or not.  The short film has to be at least 50 years old, possibly made in the 50’s or 60’s.  It depicts an Italian or French woman working in a hot, sweaty, noisy factory.  For some reason I think she may be a young Sofia Loren.  Somehow she meets an attractive stranger who is driving a convertible.  He whisks her off her feet and they go off travelling for the day.  She experiences the finer things in life she always dreamed about.  The stranger drops her off at her home and within seconds he dies in a car crash.  The next day the woman is back in the factory tragically daydreaming about her lost love and any chance of leaving her dreary existence.

Got something to say?
