In the ending of the movie, a barrel of koi fish was knocked over and all the koi fish spilled out. I remember it was really sad for some reason? I think there was a man who spent his life savings on the koi fish, and then they were all in a wooden barrel that was knocked over somehow and all the koi fish died. There might have also been a little boy riding a bike.

I saw this movie maybe 10 years ago, and it was a Netflix DVD that my family had rented (color movie not B&W). The movie wasn’t in English but I can’t remember what language it was / where it took place.

Please help I’ve been trying to remember this movie for years and years!!!
