ok so it was an indie film i think and it was set in this weird bed and breakfast run by a son and mother. There are like 6-8 people in the bnb and a man comes to the door asking to use he phone but the mother sees blood on his clothes and realizes hes this killer the police have been warning people about on the radio. she goes to close the door but he pushes it open and breaks her nose. rest of the film is a a tense shoot off followed by people escaping. clock or house seem to ring a bell for its title but that could be completely wrong. also seem to remember its poster being orange and purple.
