Dead child possesses people who caused his death?

This description was given to me by a friend. She was hoping I could help her figure it out, but I’m not having any luck.

  • She said it was a B quality, and only memorable because it was so strange.
  • She saw it a few years ago, but she can’t remember if she rented it, saw it on Netflix, or TV ect.
  • Most likely made within the past 10-15 years
  • Color/English

What she remembers is that a young child dies in the beginning, and she thinks it was a gun related accident. She remembers the parents, or the mother at least, being negligent.

The kid comes back as some sort of entity, and possess the people who played a part (unknowingly?) in his death. She said he either forces them to kill themselves, or causes them all to die in some way.

At the end, he possesses his mothers boyfriend to kill his mother, and apparently the mother gets the idea that if she has sex with the boyfriend, she will get pregnant with the child again, causing his spirit to leave the boyfriend’s body and be born again.

She said she could be getting some details confused, but the basic idea is there. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Woman has never seen herself naked

Here’s another vague scene I remember seeing that I’m interested in finding, but probably never will. I’ve posted this on movie boards though the years and so far haven’t found it, every once in a while I like to try to find it again just out of curiosity. Once again, I only saw one short scene so there’s not a lot to go on. I saw this on tv some time between between the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

So, in this scene there’s a man and a woman talking, I’m pretty sure they’re on a couch – I remember the room being pretty dark, but I could be wrong about that. I don’t remember most of the conversation, just one part – the woman tells the man that she’s never seen herself naked, and he asked her what about when she bathes, and she said she just doesn’t look. I always remembered the woman being Elizabeth Perkins, but I’ve looked through her filmography and I don’t think it really is her. Through trying to find this in the past, I found out there’s an episode of Scrubs where a character tells someone she’s never seen herself naked. I watched the scene and it’s definitely not that.

I just always thought that was so strange, so it always stood out for me. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a movie either, it could have been a show. That’s all I remember seeing of it, I don’t remember if I saw anything before that conversation. When I was younger I used to flip through channels and watch small bits of things all the time. As a result I’m always remembering things like this, and I always have a hard time finding them.

Possible Ghost POV Tracking shot

I’ve been trying to find this on IMDb with no luck, and I came across this site yesterday so I figured I better give it a try over here too.

There’s this scene I saw from a film when I was a kid that I think of every once in a while, and I’d like to find the movie if I can. It might be too vague though, but we’ll see.

I’d say I saw it between 2000 and 2003, but it could have been an older film because it was on tv.
I was flipping though channels and the scene goes like this, from what I can remember – It was a pov tracking shot of something flying (I remember it as flying, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was) I assumed it was a spirit or ghost at the time, but it could have been a person. I believe it went up stairs and then down a hallway into a bedroom. There was a woman in the bed and when she saw whatever it was she screamed. I think she was sleeping and it woke her up…it was right over her while she was screaming when I changed the channel because I got scared.
I don’t really remember what the woman looked like, or the house really – I do remember thinking the woman was wealthy at the time though, so it must have been on the nicer side.

People have suggested, The Frighteners, Raising Arizona, and The Haunting (1999) – It isn’t any of those.
