Hello
I saw this scene in a movie review on tv around 1990 (+/-),
and remember thinking, that I should see the movie. That never happened.

All I remember is this scene (I think it may be an american movie, but am not sure).

Two elderly men talking. One ordinary man and one more powerful (rich, perhaps
crime boss or …). It seems like the more powerful man likes the other, and
that they will not meet again. He gives the other man a matchbox and says something like:

“If you ever need help, no matter what, use the coin (quarter?) in the matchbox
to call the phone number (also in the box), and you will get help.”

I hope this rings a bell somewhere.
