There was this movie in the 80’s, a somewhat typical college movie if I recall it right where this guy falls asleep after dinner and dreams about himself and his girlfriend being trapped in his stomach, she’s hanging on to an apple that floats around inside and he tries to save her from being dragged into his intestines… that’s when he wakes up, jumps from the bed, runs to the bathroom and throws up. It’s clear somehow that he’s got a mild food poisoning from last night’s dinner, which caused the weird dream… that’s as much as I remember.
