I remember seeing this movie either in the late 80’s or early 90’s and it is about this chimp like creature who looks like a man. All i remember is that no one liked this creature and he had no friends. What i do remember clearly about this movie is the ending. At the end of the movie the chimp like man goes to a bar with this man that he befriended and the man tells the chimp to wait in the car while he goes into the bar. The chimp is left waiting in the car for a full day while the guy is in the bar drinking. Eventually the chimp like man gets sad and realizes no one loves him and then he exits the car and runs off into the mountains. As he is running away the credits to the movie start coming up and the movie ends.  Does anyone know the name of this movie, i have seen it only that one time and have been searching for it for the last 25 years.
